As Texans, we have a lot to be proud of, including being the largest state in the contiguous U.S., Dr. Pepper, southern hospitality, no state income tax and some of the best food in the world.
Everything is bigger in Texas, including our appetites and our love for delicious food is legendary. Founded in 1941, using original family recipes handed down from generation to generation, Dickey’s Barbecue Pit has grown to more than 500 locations worldwide.
Our original family recipes are the same today as they were in 1941, but we’ve spent the last 78 years creating new Texas influenced original recipes that have never been published or released to consumers.
