- Combine water and sugar in a glass bowl and microwave for 2 minutes. Stir with a spoon to fully dissolve sugar. Cover the simple syrup and place in the refrigerator to cool.
- Cut lemons in half, place on a heated grill and char the cut sides of the lemons for 5-10 minutes.
- Juice the lemons and strain seeds out, combine with chilled simple syrup.
- Pour 1/4 cup of the grilled lemon simple syrup in the bottom of a beer glass. Pour the beer over the syrup and serve with a lemon wedge.
