Texas Trash Snack Mix

  • 6 tbsp
  • Butter, melted
  • 1 tsp
  • Lemon pepper
  • 1/2 tsp
  • Cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1 tbsp
  • Worcestershire
  • 6 cups
  • Rice Chex cereal
  • 2 Cups
  • Lightly seasoned toasted corn nuts
  • 1 bag
  • Gardetto's snack mix
  • 3 cups
  • Cheese cracker


  1. Heat smoker to 275 deg F.
  2. Melt butter in microwave. In a large mixing bowl, combine butter with Chex cereal and corn nuts. Toss well.
  3. In a small bowl combine lemon pepper, Dickey’s Chili Pork Butt Rub and cayenne. Mix well.
  4. Toss buttered Chex cereal with combined spice, place on a foil lined sheet tray and place in smoker, smoke for 70-80 minutes.
  5. Remove smoked Chex and corn nut mixture.
  6. Combine with all remaining ingredients. Allow to cool before placing into a covered dish to store.
  7. Or serve immediately warm.
